Lyrical Dance

Lyrical - Based on the rules of ballet, yet we move in more of a free manor, then adding a true emotion to the dance and telling a whole story. Not only does this allow creativity, but it allows a fluidity and charm to show itself without having a total ballet background. Focus will be on continuous movement and emotional movement.

 

Lyrical Dance Classes

• Lyrical Enhanced: Ages 9-12 This class consists of simple lyrical techniques and individual personality. We explore the emotions and meanings of our pieces of work. Focus will be on combinations and complex steps.
• Lyrical Advanced: With Instructor’s Permission This class consists of more complex lyrical techniques and individual personality. We explore the emotions and meanings of our pieces of work. Whole dances and elaborate combinations will be created and detailed.
